Today we are focusing on the first week of New York Jets training camp. We're going to talk about one of the Jets' best players,

giving some insightful scouting reports

on two critical players who need to step up

for the Jets in 2025.

We're going to talk about this team's youth movement.

It's impacting the Jets across the board,

and it could have a big impact at one position in particular.

But I'm going to begin by talking about the job head coach

Aaron Glenn has done through this first week of practices. When training camp began last week,

one of the things that I said was it's best to avoid the day-to-day who's up, who's down,

because a player may have a great practice today and have a lousy practice tomorrow.

So you don't really learn that much by who won practice on a given day.

And also, who's playing well in practice is kind of subjective.

Sometimes what you'll see is one reporter will say this guy did great,

and another reporter will say the same guy did poorly today. So difficult to read too much in the day-to-day.
