Alright, welcome back to Waveform Episode 220. We are back. It's two days later. We are in the midst of

0:18.8

CES as we record this, but we'll also have a little bit of a wrap up. But we're kind of in the thick of

0:23.6

seeing the future right now. And I'm joined by my co-host Andrew and with our guest today, which is

0:31.2

Mr. Austin Evans. Hey guys, this is Austin. Oh, I was crisp. I'm so glad we have a clean recording of you

0:38.0

saying that. Welcome to Waveform. Thank you for having me. Yeah. So you just got to CES. You made

0:44.1

the smart decision. I've been here for days and I'm about done with technology. I think I'm going

0:49.6

back to the Stone Age now. I love that this is where we're starting. This is CES. Okay, so just for

0:54.7

context, this is I had to look it up. This is my ACES. This is your ninth CES. Okay, and this

1:01.9

Andrew, which third, third CES. So I'd say after about three, you start to lose hope for how much you

1:10.8

think you can get done or what you think you can make out of CES. And it starts to go downhill. I'm

just speaking as a YouTuber who's like, I want to make a good high quality set of six videos of

1:20.1

cool things I find. And then by year three or four, it's like, I'm going to bring my phone and

1:25.1

I'm just going to point it at something and hopefully something good happens. Driving into the studio

1:29.2

on Monday before our flight, I honestly thought we were going to get there and you were going to say,

1:33.7

let's just not get on the plane. Yeah, I've done that to various events in the past. I did not do

1:38.9

that to CES. But you know what, we're here. We've seen some stuff. Austin, what's the best thing you've

1:44.1

seen at CES 2020? Oh, man. I mean, so there actually, it's been pretty good this year. Like all

1:50.2

joking aside, there's been a lot more stuff because I think the trend over the last few years has

1:54.8

been CES has been kind of becoming less and less of an important show. Yeah. So many of the big OEMs

1:59.6

have moved to their own separate events. And so a lot of times, especially the last two years,

2:03.8

I kind of felt like it was just sort of the extra small like, oh, here's a little interesting bit

2:08.3

here there. But this year, this year, there's actually been some really cool stuff. So the Razor
