It's just a matter of the times on the day when they're playing um whatever stretches they're you know whatever tough stretches they have whatever all that stuff and who they're going to play in london when they're going to play in london primetime games those are the things we always it it's fun to find out about. But anyway, so that's going to happen within the next two weeks, but for you goal members are getting back to the private Zoom next week. So today I'm going to talk about two things. One, Sunny Stiles, and then also the rookie mini camp because that opens Friday. And I'll just real briefly on the mini camp but then I'll get back to it in a minute. We will have our only media session or availability, excuse me, on Friday to watch the practice, first practice. So you're going to learn some things and you're not going to overreact

1:22.6

to anything because there's, you don't, it's hard to put it into context, but there are things you can learn,

1:27.8

and I'll talk about that in a minute. So, anyway, for Sunny Stiles, I want to talk about him for a couple minutes, and I did talk about the defense the other day. And by the way, I did, I'm going to get to the offense next week and some things just like where they stand now and how the offense can look i have people on to talk about it i'll talk about myself but i have some

1:44.4

really good guests coming on to talk about it. And then if you didn't hear my interview with Davosweeney, please go listen to that. He was really good on Antonio Williams. And I know that coach is always going to praise their guys, but I always like when guys can tell me, how did a guy get from point A to point B? So college, you know, a good college prospect to a third round NFL pick and a guy who may have gone higher if there weren't injury concerns. So I think, I think that was part of it. But anyways, I thought he was really good on that. Like, again, yes, they're going to say like, hey, this guy's great. I love them. But why? What is it you saw? And those are the things that you can learn from those interviews for sure. So anyways, you'll give that a listen and let's get on to Sunny Style. So the first thing I'm going to talk about is the green dot and the importance of it. And we don't know who's going to wear the green dot. And I think it's going to become this topic that I don't know that it's going to be weighing on the coaches as much as like fans and media might be asking about it because, you know, typically it's the middle linebacker who wears it. So if it's not Sunny Stiles, who might it be? Well, Dan Quinn has talked about this a number of times or a few times at least. And it could be Frankie Louvo. He wants a guy who's going to be on the field for every snap because that's important. If you're going to wear the green dot, you kind of have to be out there because you have to relay the plays in the huddle. So it could be, it could be a safety like Will Harris. So they, you know, he's a very smart player. So bottom line is like even it's Will Harris, he's not responsible for the defensive audibles on the field. Like, Sunny Stiles will still have that responsibility, right? And others can do things too, but like that's going to be his responsibility, whether or not he has a green dot or not. He's going to be responsible in the middle of the defense for doing, making those calls. You can't, it's hard to make the calls from the, from a deep, deep middle if that's where you're playing on that particular coverage. So you need to have that guy in the middle of the field who does that. So the green dot is going to be about relaying information from sidelines to the field. And it's relaying the plays, obviously. But it's also the other part is it's not just like okay this is the play it's also hey

3:41.3

remind you know tell so-and-so to look for this remind so-and-so of this you know make sure you see

3:46.9

this so there's a lot of other there's a lot of extra information that comes in over the headset

3:51.5

over the um and the radio transmitter to that they have to be then aware of in relay.

3:57.9

So that's why it's like you want to make sure the guy can do it.

4:00.5

And so he's going to work with that, I'm sure. And Leo Chanel, like maybe he can do some, maybe he can do that as well. You're not going to be switching all the time, but you want a guy who's going to be out there all the time, but ideally it will be Sonny Stiles. Now, the one thing, eventually it will be him because that's just the kind of player he is.

4:16.4

And one of the things, if you listen to my James Lauren Knight, it will be Sunny Stiles. Now, the one thing, eventually it will be him because that's just the kind of player he is.

4:16.4

And one of the things, if you listen to my James Lorinitis interview about him that he said

4:20.2

that teams liked about him during the process, because I asked him, like, what feedback were

4:25.4

you getting from teams?
