The late afternoon com at Brown University shattered with gunshots in the Barrison Holly Engineering Building as students preparing for finals dove for cover.

Chaos spread through hallways and classrooms, emergency alerts blaring phones into silence. By by evening two students were dead and nine were

wounded hospitals filled with the injured as grieving friends and family rushed in police released brief

surveillance of a shrouded figure in black a haunting silhouette fleeing into providence. But no suspect has been charged.

A man once detained as a person of interest was released,

leaving investigators and a stunned camp is still scared and searching for answers in the killer.

But first, Rob Reiner the emmy winning actor who first

captivated audiences as meat head on all in the family and later became one of hollywood's defining

directors with such hits as when harry met sally the princess bride a good men, was found stabbed to death alongside his wife,

Michelle Singer-Riner, in their Brentwood Los Angeles home on December 14th.

The couple had been married since 1989 and raised three children, Jake, Nick, and Romy.

Rob also adopted actress Tracy Reiner from his first marriage

to Penny Marshall.

Emergency responders discovered their bodies

after daughter Romie found them, both suffered fatal stab wounds

and what authorities described as an apparent homicide.
