Breaking news can be heartbreaking.

So we like to do news-ish on the Wally show.

Yeah, we obviously are all aware of what happened over the weekend with the attempted

assassination of former President Trump, and we are going to talk about it a little bit today.

We'll do it like in my news, but we don't want to live there all day

either because that's a little heavy and you can get that anywhere and so way a FEM is like kind of

choosing to be apolitical in a sense of you know not inundating you with stuff because you can get that anywhere and obviously

it's super divisive as we can see from this and so with that

Betty Lou what do you got for newsish kids in Massachusetts

are hitting the books to learn the Pledge of Allegiance not because of a homework

assignment but because of free ice cream. Fine, don't care.

That's okay.

That works. A local ice cream shop called Eskimo King is offering free kitty cones

to any kid who can recite the pledge by memory during the month of July and kids are
