Summary

When you move into an old pre-war apartment, you expect creaky floors and flickering lights… not the sound of someone furiously typing in the middle of the night. This chilling true ghost story follows a tenant who began hearing the unmistakable click-clack of keys echoing through the halls — and sometimes right from inside their own apartment. The neighbors called it “the office man working late,” a nod to the long-gone manager who once kept meticulous ledgers in the building’s early boarding-house days.

But when the desk chair rolled back on its own, the dust showed a ghostly disturbance, and a blank yellow legal pad page appeared overnight with a mysterious ink-blot stain, it was clear this haunting was more than just sounds.
