Terry Gilbert was home alone when she hid in the basement as an apparent intruder

broke in. A shadowy figure descended the basement stairs.

She aimed her gun and fired three shots

killing the alleged intruder.

Police soon discovered that the intruder was Terry's estranged husband.

Was this a case of self-defense or an elaborate cover-up for murder?
