So, uh, there's a story.

I don't know how many of you know this. I didn't know this until recently.

You start digging into radio stations and all of that. You know, up a radio station was when you got into the car

and you twisted the dial one way or another till you could get a station to come in clear.

And the problem was in the old days, before the digital, you'd have the little red, you'd have the little

red line along there. And you couldn't go from AM to FM.

It was just if you were over on 1600 AM

and then you switched,

well they were originally all 80 AM, then you switched over to the FM, it was just too much twisting to get over there.

And you couldn't do it while you were driving. If you did, it was not easy.

But you'd get it over and you get it just to the station and

and then it'd be clearer.

Well, then they came up with the genius push button.

So you could mash the button in and it would go to your station.

Well that was that way you could flip stations.

Ah, it was brilliant. But a station was just the thing that I listened to in the car. I didn't think of it. I never thought of it as a transmitter. That's old radio junkies. Think of that. But stations have transmitters. And if you if you flip around the

dial in Houston for instance you will hear different stations say they have to

give their station ID it's required by the FCC. They have to

give their station ID so you'll hear them say you know ZZZZZ

broadcasting out of and most of them are not in Houston.

They're what are called rim shots.
