I'm Greta Johnson, since we are now deep into the summer groove,

and somehow we have already gotten halfway through the year, we thought it would be fun to play back a couple of our favorite episodes from 2021. Because why not take a minute, take stock.

In ice cream, especially in ice cream, there is so much more to discover.

But first, Ross Gay is a poet who wrote the book of delights. Essentially

what he did every day for a year was he wrote a miniature essay about something that delighted him.

And in the introduction of the book, he talks about how the more you study delight, the more

delight there is to study. I think it's beautiful. It was the exact reframing that I needed.

And it's actually the one resolution that I made for this year.

I wanted to write a delight a day.

Sometimes it ends up being more like seven delights a week,

but I'm still really glad I'm doing it.

So here I am talking to Ross Gay about the Book of Delights back in January.
