I've been around American citizens, you know, mothers crying, people showing me that they're carrying their passport.

That's the Minneapolis police chief describing to CNN the anxiety within the Somali community there because of the Trump

administration's immigration crackdown in the Twin Cities. One mother was telling me, you know,

her teenage son is autistic. She's a single mom. She can't keep him at home. So she is afraid of

her son who's disabled and born in the United States might be picked up and what would happen

to him.

In Louisiana, the Department of Homeland Security says it plans to make at least 5,000 arrests.

Top Border Patrol official Greg Bovino and masked agents were spotted in New Orleans yesterday.

CNN's Ryan Young is there.

He's visited businesses in New Orleans and says some restaurants are handing out whistles to prepare residents for ice enforcement.

The goal of this is to make sure they put it in as many hands as possible.

And when the ice agents show up, people will start blowing the whistle.

There have been organizations that are helping to educate people to make sure they know exactly what they should do to help folks,

but not also violate the law.
