The Department of Homeland Security says they plan to make at least 5,000 arrests in Louisiana.

Top border official Greg Bovino and masked agents were seen in the New Orleans suburbs yesterday.

Meanwhile, as federal raids also sweep through Minneapolis in St. Paul, President Donald

Trump is doubling down his verbal attacks on Somali immigrants.

And he's specifically targeting Minnesota's Somali American Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.

They have destroyed Minnesota.

She should not be, and her friends shouldn't be allowed.

Frankly, they shouldn't even be allowed to be congresspeople.

Speaking to CNN, here's how Omar responded.

I'm not shocked because we know that the president oftentimes resorts to very bigoted,

xenophobic, slumophobic, racist rhetoric when he is trying to escape goat and deflect from

the actual failures that he has himself.

And here's what Minneapolis mayor, Jacob Frey, had to say in the face of Trump's attacks.

The Somali community is almost universally American citizens.

They have come here legally.

They are in our city legally.

And they have contributed greatly to the fabric of who we are.
