Okay, so we've had plenty of friendships featured on Works for Us before, but today's guest is one of those truly magical people who's created the strongest community of lifelong friends around her since she was a child, an actual child.

Soleil Moonfries, probably the brightest, sunshiny unicorn person that everyone naturally gravitates to. And I'm so

very grateful to call her one of my closest friends. Not only is she an extraordinary actor and

mother who famously starred in both Punky Brewster and its reboot, but she's also documented

and produced her own documentary, Kid 90, about her experiences and friendships as a

child star. Her poignant film really highlights the family and community that she formed with

other young actors in Hollywood. And I couldn't be more excited to talk to her about that,

her life, and everything else. Thank you so much for joining me on works for us today,

my sweet solet. I love you so much and I am in tears. I have chills all over. I love you so much,

Rachel. And you really are one of the brightest forces in my life and you are such an incredible friend and

I love the way that we get to love each other without judgment and that there's just an

unconditional love there and I'm so grateful it really is truly one of the friendships that I'm most

grateful for in my life you're my my family. I feel the same.

And we're going to talk about so much of that because I think, well, first of all, it's funny.

I was thinking about it. Before we like roll back to everything, do you remember when we first met?

Because I can't remember. Like, I feel like I've known you my whole life, but I don't remember.

I remember.

I remember meeting the coolest girl I've ever met in New York City at Moomba in this lounge upstairs.
