Hello and welcome to another episode of the Fully Charged Plus podcast.

People who are just listening to this, which is the vast majority of people who can hear

me at this very moment won't be aware of this, but some of the people who may watch the

YouTube version will notice that I'm currently based in winter sunshine, which is lovely,

and very, very appropriate for this episode, because I'm based in solar energy.

And that's what we're talking about today. I'm joined today by a really interesting

physicist, a woman who works for Bloomberg NEF. Now, I first mentioned this, as you will

hear, as new energy finance, Bloomberg new energy finance. It's not called that anymore.

You'll hear me being corrected. It's Bloomberg NEF, but new energy finance was founded,

I don't know how many years ago, 16, 17, 18 years ago, by Michael Liebreich, who I've had

on the show and whose show I will be on, his own show called Cleaning Up, his own podcast,

I beg your pardon, which I'm a guest on in later this year. And it was basically to study

the economics and the costs and the benefits of renewable energy. And it's become a kind

of leading source of information on that topic. And that's kind of the broadest sense

that we're talking about. It is about solar panels and solar energy around the world.

And there's some jaw dropping facts that Jenny will tell you about, which is a, it's a

amazing conversation. She's a really good, really good source of information and she

makes me laugh. So I really enjoyed talking to it. It was great fun. Before we start,

I do the a couple of things I do want to say, which are just, you know, you've heard me

say before on this show, but I think it's important to our live shows. I'll just, I just can't,

I mean, yes, it makes sense to me telling you about the most publicity. It's, it's all

those things, you know, it's promoting and all that. I don't even like any of that stuff.
