And so to constantly examine whether you have enough faith is to turn faith into its opposite.

So we're saying that clearly, like if you are asking the enough faith question, be clear

that you're turning faith into the opposite.

Faith is not looking at yourself at all, but to Christ, and this is from Spurgeon, it's

not the strength of your faith that saves you, but the strength of Him upon whom you rely.

Christ is able to save you if you come to Him, but your faith is weak, but He is strong.

That's the point you have to keep on going back to.

Yeah, I think when we try to conjure up faith, it becomes less than faith.

And Mike, a while ago, you were talking about this, we feel like we have to have this internal

reality that goes on that sort of makes faith alive in us.

And I think that's a sort of a mechanism of our, we have to do something that the polar

shows up by our own bootstraps, we have to carry our own weight, a product of our individualism,

we have to internalize things, we're uncomfortable with just receiving something and being desperate

and not being able to do anything that can, we have nothing to contribute to this.

You know, the old, him right, I said, nothing in my hands I'd bring, but home into that

cross by clinging.

And even in that clinging, it's not a work.

It's because with the woman with a garment, desperation, that's all we can do.

I mean, just my own personality, I don't like being a charity case.

I don't like needing someone to help me do something.

It's not so much feeling weak, I'm fine kind of like not knowing.

It's actually just feeling like a nuisance.
