I am glad you're with me today.

Thanks for being here, friends.

This is the morning mindset.

This is our opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's Word today.

Today we'll be looking at Proverbs 25, 3 different verses, verses 15, 18, and 23.

And they all have to do with how we use this thing between our teeth, called our tongue.

We're going to get to that in just a moment.

Or today, Proverbs 25, 15, 18, and 23.

Verse 15 says, with patience, a ruler may be persuaded and a soft tongue will break a bone.

That's a very interestingly phrased statement.

And what's almost trying to convey to us here is that we often feel like in a debate or

in a persuasive sort of situation, we need to get louder and stronger and make a better

emphasis through our volume or through our pressure.

And Solomon's saying, actually, it's more effective to do the opposite.
