social media is always such an interesting topic and can be used in so many different ways— to connect, inspire, as a form of self expression/art, for recreational purposes and so much more. but even so, it still comes with a lot of backlash. it’s a distraction, causes insecurities— the list goes on and on. i too have found myself blaming social media for my unhappiness. but social media is not our enemy. we are our own enemy. we are standing in our own way. when we start to feel all of these negative emotions while we’re using these apps, it’s time to take a step back and really analyze what the real problem is and make some intentional changes within our lives. in this episode, ri covers the above points and discusses how to utilize social media like the tool that it is meant to be + create healthy boundaries with the online world.
