and what's worse is that it's being administered by a Tory government with an 80 seat majority.

That's right, we now have the highest taxes that Britain has ever seen since the Second World War.

Let's just take a minute to understand that and let it resonate.

That means that Boris Johnson is taxing us more than Jim Callaghan taxed us.

Taxing us more than Harold Wilson taxed us. Taxing us more than Tony Blair taxed us.

And taxing us even more than Gordon Brown. All of course, stalwarts of left-wing economics

and leaders of the Labour Party. Never mind that the Prime Minister and his cabinet henchman

Never mind that they all blame the pandemic and coronavirus for changing the entire financial landscape of the country.

And never mind what they say about fixing the problems in social care.

Because we know what's really going on.

And here it is.

It's simply a tax grab designed to throw more money at the already bloated NHS,

an organisation that could not be more inefficient if it tried.

We know that social care won't be fixed this way.
