0:27.2	about a soaring season so let's jump in and check this out Isaiah chapter 40 verse 21 the prophet Isaiah is speaking to God's people here that are in exile, far from home.
0:45.6	There's actually decades, over 100 years between chapter 39 and 40.
0:50.0	So they've been far from home for a long time.
0:55.3	They've been in a season of exhaustion and frustration and weariness.
1:02.5	And we see the prophet Isaiah coming in and he's ready not only to encourage,
1:09.5	but to remind him and to remind us that we serve a big God.
1:14.7	Amen.
1:16.3	Verse 21, it says, do you not know?
1:19.9	Have you not heard?
1:21.7	Has it not been told to you from the beginning?
1:25.5	Have you not understood since the earth was founded?
1:29.9	He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth and its people are like grasshoppers.
1:36.7	He stretches out the heavens like a canopy and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
1:43.1	He brings princes to naught and reduces the rulers of
1:46.3	this world to nothing. No sooner are they planted. No sooner are they sown. No sooner do they take root
1:54.1	in the ground, then he blows on them and they wither. And a world one sweeps them away like chat. To whom will you compare me?
2:06.5	Or who is my equal, says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens. Who created all of these?
