This week's 10-minute Tuesday, we're going to be talking a little bit about what to be expecting

to do or think if you're going to be a a little bit about what to be expecting to do or think if you're

going to be a good client for a guide.

We get a lot of messages from people on Instagram asking us, who's a good guide?

Hey, what should I be tipping?

What should I be doing when I go on a trip as a guided client?

Do you know a good guide that I could hire?

Yeah.

But at the same time, we don't want to send people to our friends that own guide outfits that won't know how to treat a guide properly. And we're going to go over some of those things here today. And you might not even realize that you're being, not a pain in the butt, but like a bad client. You could be a lot better of a client than you already are being.

I feel like a lot of people when they go to an outfitter, they're like, everything should be done for me and paying for this experience. And if we don't shoot birds, I'm done. You know what I mean? But at the end of the day, you're still hunting. And so... think for a lot of people too, it's just like setting your expectation going into a guided

experience. Okay? Like like this is not like going to the beach and this beach

is always there you know what i mean like you think you're going on vacation that's why i think a lot

of guys look at it like they're like oh yeah i paid for this trip it's like a vacation yeah dude it is

not a you're hunting there's birds do what they

want to do you can you can go and look for birds and find birds and have fields with birds

if they get up tomorrow and they decide they are not eating in that field today you could be in

trouble no matter what so a few things that you should think about as going into it what you should expect you should expect your

guide to work hard to put you on birds to try their best to put you on birds to be prepared to

have the decoys that you need to have the blinds that you need they should have the stuff that

you need to be successful hunting what you need to do is go in with
