Well, it's a privilege to be with you guys tonight, Pastor Jack and Lisa, send their love as

they are away for a few days, getting some needed rest and unplugging, and they are looking

forward to being back with us soon.

But for tonight, you can open your Bibles to 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 10.

We're looking at a message entitled, So Great, A Salvation.

Tonight, we're going to talk about one of the greatest topics in the Bible, the salvation

that God provided for us in Jesus Christ.

Now, this salvation that the Bible talks about is referred to in a variety of ways and

what I'm going to refer to tonight as phases or parts, if you will.

The study of salvation or so theology is a rich and deep doctrine, and as you study it,

it becomes very clear that it is referred to in three distinct tenses for the believer,

past, present, and future, that God has saved us, that He is saving us, and that He will

save us future.

For example, our main text for tonight is out of 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verse 10, where

Paul says, Who delivered us from so great a death and does deliver us in whom we trust

that He will still deliver us.

He delivered us past, He is delivering us present, and on Him we have set our hope that He

will deliver us again.

Let's pray together.

Father God, as we come to you in the study of your word, we pray that you would teach

us.

Lord, we know that salvation is one of the most important doctrines in the Bible.
