And so for those of you that maybe have been living under a rock and have not heard me

mention it before, this is probably one of the go-to resources that I recommend anyone in

read. So whether that's someone just trying to improve your own nutrition and training or you're

a coach, either starting out or all the way up to a seasoned professional, this book is going to have

pretty much the blueprint for how you'd go about dietary programming.

And even more than that, it's not a step-by-step guide to follow because I don't think they're all

that helpful. This is something that gives you context behind everything. It allows you to understand

the underlying principles of what is going to dictate body composition from a nutritional standpoint.

And the book on training is just as good.

So our focus today is going to be on the nutrition book.

And so anytime I mention the pyramid, which will come up a number of times,

what we're essentially referring to is just Eric's hierarchy for all the nutritional

factors related to changing body composition. So as we know, there's a number of different

factors in nutrition that can influence body composition, but not all those factors are of equal

value. And so Eric put them into a hierarchy in the form of a pyramid to explain which are the

most foundational and fundamental pieces that make the biggest difference. And then it goes into
