This is the story of the time two kids built a snowman.

But here's the thing.

It wasn't even a particularly special snowman.

It certainly wasn't very pleasing to look at.

If anything, it was kind of lumpy

and perhaps a little crooked. And you know, the two kids who made it hadn't even wanted to make it

in the first place. Genevieve and Gus had been on their winter break, no school for two weeks.

But as the break began nearing the end, the kids started getting bored. They had already done all of the

things, and some of the things they had done twice. But now they were left wondering,

what else can we do? Their parents overheard a few of their ideas and did not like what they

were hearing. Um, did I just hear the kids say they wanted to use vegetable oil to make a

slip and slide along the upstairs hallway?
