I'm Katie Nolan. I'm the host.

Joining me a little bit later will be my friend Stavros Halkius, big Ravens fan, a buddy of mine.

We're going to have a great conversation. We're going to talk about everything. We talk about

a little bit of the NFL. We talk about college football. Talk about basketball.

Covering pretty much all the sports. And we'll get to that in just a sec.

But first, we're going to start every podcast with me kind of just talking to you about

whatever I'm thinking about.

We're calling it the Yap because I'm a, I'm a yap.

So today's Yap, I kind of just wanted to talk to you guys since this is our first episode

about what we're

doing here and what the point of casuals is.

It feels crazy to be making a podcast again.

I'm very excited to be doing this and to be doing this with Sirius XM, although the podcast

is available wherever you get your podcasts.

Everybody keeps asking if you need a subscription and you don't.

But the whole point of this podcast for me, after working in sports for, I don't know,

it's about 10 years, but every time I say that, that sounds nuts to me because I'm still 26.

Shrug, innocent shrug.

After working in sports for as long as I did, and I've done so many different things and met so many cool people and had so many incredible experiences. And then

the last two years, I sort of stepped back and chilled out. And a thing I realized about sports

is that when you work in sports, your relationship with it, like, fundamentally changes.
