Hello and welcome to episode two of Casuals.

I'm your host, Katie Nolan.

Casuals is a podcast for, you know, new sports fans, casual sports fans, old sports fans

that are bored by sports podcasts. We're here. We're talking about sports most of the time,

but we're also talking about life and usually the internet. Today on the podcast, it's our

first Thursday episode. We've got a big guest, D.K. Metcalf is here.

We're going to talk to him about, well, we did a baking show together, so we'll probably talk about

that a little bit, kind of a funny thing. But, you know, also he's D.K. Metcalfe. He's a very good

football player for currently the Seahawks, but who's to say? Before we get to DK, though,

you guys know this now because you're your seasoned vets with this podcast. We start every pod with a

yap. And that's just me talking to you about whatever's running through this brain of mine.

And today, I know we've only been a podcast for one day to you, but like we've practiced some of these.

And this is the truest yap of all.

I don't have a real point here, but this thing's been stuck in my craw.

And I figured we'd talk about that a little bit.

What's up with the online?

What's going on on the internet? What is up, you guys? I feel like, look, I've been

online for a while. Don't make me say how long. I'm wearing a child's outfit. So please don't

make me say how long it is. I've been on the internet. But like, it's different out there right now. It's, and it's scary different.

I feel like I used to live in a world where, yes, there's bad stuff out there, but you at least

like understood what truth was. There was like objective truth, mostly to be found on like little

basic issues. It wasn't, every single thing wasn't a question mark.
