In today's episode, a psychiatrist takes an unexpected journey into the surreal,

and director Parker Finn's horror film, Smile. The film follows Dr. Rose Cotter, who after

witnessing the bizarre suicide of a patient, goes through increasingly disturbing and daunting

experiences, leading her to believe what she is experiencing is supernatural.

Smile is Finn's feature directorial debut.

Following a recent screening of the film at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles, Finn shares insight

into the making of Smile with fellow director Zach Kreger.

But like, how's it felt for you in the last two weeks that this thing's been out? Has it been, how's your mental

state? Well, I don't know how my mental state is normally. So, but no, I, it's been surreal. I mean,

it's been like a dream come true. I just, you know, never in my wildest expectations that I anticipate that like all of this would have happened.

So it's been awesome.

It's so awesome.

And it's so cool for me to watch this because we have like, had sort of the similar experience.
