I woke up to tons of tweets and all kinds of emails and messages from people who could

not wait to tell me what today was as if I don't know. We go through this every single

year, every July 1st. Yes, it is Bobby Bonilla Day. Bobby Bonilla got his 12 paycheck, ladies

and gentlemen from the New York Mets. He got his latest installment of, I want to make

sure I get this right, $1,193,248, and 20 cents. As he does every year, the Mets so far

have paid him in excess of $14 million and they have a lot more left to pay him. He's

going to continue to get that paycheck every single year for the next 13 years to the

tune of an additional $15 million plus also that he wouldn't play in the year 2000. So Bobby

Bonilla, all he's got to do, yeah, I wonder at this point, you know, where so many years

in now technology, the world has changed. I would imagine he doesn't have to walk to his

mailbox every day and get the physical check that he then has to bring to his bank to

the cash in. I mean, you know, they got direct deposit these days, they got fucking Bitcoin,

although I don't think he wants to be involved in crypto the way things have been going. Yes,
