Recently the universe has been sending me this message in multiple ways, which is slow down.

In one of the books that I was reading it was a piece of advice that a mother gave her daughter and I just circled it because it connected to me somehow and then I did a meditation with my higher self, so I was actually able to connect with hire me

who was in the future. So me many years from now and in that higher self meditation

future me me at a much older age told me to slow down. That was the advice that she had for me. And then as I was looking on

Instagram recently I saw these amazing photos of people in their 80s and 90s in

nursing homes giving advice to the younger

generation and the one that really stood out to me that I shared on

Instagram was a woman holding a sign saying my advice to the younger generation is to slow down. So maybe you need this

message too and how I receive this slow message itself is not to take less action, it's not to lower your ambition,

certainly none of those things. For me it's just to bring presence to everything.

Whenever we're conscious and we're present we are having a spiritual experience. It really is that simple.

Washing the dishes can be a spiritual experience, raising kids, driving somewhere.

When we're present, when we slow our minds down, this is how we regret proof our life, because

we're actually there for it.

It's almost like seeing the world, seeing your daily experience in high definition.

And so I want to read to you today a poem that I love so much.

And I heard this years ago, I think when I was a teenager and somehow it connected with me then, so this is a message, but I feel cool to show I'm going to read this poem to you. It's called Slow Dance.

And I want to just see how it makes you feel.

Because I felt called to read it. I read it to my husband.

I've read it to myself a couple of different times, and I feel soothed by it and I feel like the message is very timely and relevant for us now in a world where we do rush in a world where our attention can really be going in 3,000 different directions, second to second,

and where it's really easy simply to not be conscious, to not be present.
