Hello and welcome back to the Half-size-me show. I am so extremely happy to have you here.

1:07.0

Today you're going to get to hear interview with Tracy. Tracy was awesome. I know you're going to enjoy hearing her interview. She is new to maintenance and she shares all the different tries that she had to become at the weight that she wanted to be at.

1:26.0

It really took her changing her mindset about what maintenance looked like, her learning new skills that she didn't already have, really accepting the weight fluctuations and getting through the honeymoon period of maintenance to begin to settle into it.

1:42.0

I know you're going to get a lot of great benefit from listening to Tracy. Before I get to her interview, I want to let you know I'm doing something I've never done before and it's because I see how everybody's lower brain affects them.

1:59.0

When people join the half-size-me community, they think they have to do everything right away. They feel like, okay, I've got to do a challenge. I have to get a support partner.

2:12.0

They don't do all of this. They don't see themselves doing everything. They're lower brain screams at them and says, you're not taking advantage of the community. You're not posting enough. You're not doing this enough.

2:31.0

I'm going to call her B. B would start. She wouldn't see herself sticking with it and she would cancel. Then she would come back and she would do the same thing. One day when she really got this whole lower brain thing, she finally said, I get it.

2:44.0

My lower brain and me quitting because what would happen is when she would quit, she would gain a bunch of weight and she would come back heavier than she was before.

2:52.0

So B finally realized this was all part of the cycle. When she would hit quit in the community, it would give her permission to maybe eat whatever she wanted or do whatever she wanted with food and then she would see her weight go up and then she would come back and she would be like, okay, I'm ready to jump in. I'm going to do all the things, which is very typical. That's how people's brains are wired.

3:13.0

And I want to help you this holiday season. I don't want that to even be an option. I want you to be in there for three months to get you through the holidays into the easily into 2023. And I want you to not be able to quit on yourself.

3:28.0

Say, you know what Heather told me in episode 557, I don't have to do everything. Maybe if all I do is go through the six steps to success and I post a couple times, maybe that's all I need to do.

3:39.0

But the whole quitting on myself, because I joined something and I don't do all the things the first month and then I quit. It's actually for me leading to more self sabotage. And that was me as well. I made the decision in my weight loss journey.

3:53.0

I was going to go every single week to my meetings. I was going to not cancel like I had done so many times before I was very much like being that way. I would join I'd get all the new materials. I wouldn't even stay a month and then I would cancel. I was very good at that. But when I canceled, it was also the beginnings of me binging uncontrollably.

4:14.0

I'd come back 10 or 20 pounds heavier and what's so funny is I'd always have my little like W W booklet that would say what my weight was before because I would save that I go back I was always at best that same weight but usually higher.

4:26.0

And I think to myself I want to make it more difficult for your lower brain to execute that plan. So moving forward starting October 10th, we are only going to offer a three month membership for the time being three months.

4:40.0

So that way you join you're in there. We're there to support you community by its very nature means you lean into us when you're struggling not when things are going well not when you're rocking the 30 day challenges and you're doing all stuff when you're struggling because that's what I use community for when I'm doing well. I'm okay. I can kind of coast through it's when I'm not doing well that I need the support more.

5:01.0

And so we're going to make it a three month membership, but what we're going to throw in with that is a product that we only offer during the holidays. It's our thrive for the holidays kit.

5:12.0

That is going to be yours for free. It's normally a 39 95 value. You're going to get that when you sign up for the three month membership.

5:21.0

So you get to hear about how to work through all of the different holidays that you're going to be coming up against got tons of webinars and resources for you selected.

5:31.0

So this is going to be a combo packet. You're getting the three month membership. So that way you're in there. You're committed. Your lower brain isn't going to convince you to cancel your in it for the long haul.
