It's all coming up on slate money.

Okay so normally Thanksgiving is a quiet week where nothing much happens and we can

all just snooze and eat lots of turkey.

This year, this turns out to have been one of those weeks where we really need a slate money.

So Emily, can you just give me the big top-level overview? First of all, of what the

hell happened to Open AI?

Basically, about a little over a week ago, Sam Altman, the very famous CEO of Open AI, which is the company that everyone knows about because they're the ones who put out chat, GPT, about a year ago,

year ago, and that went crazy,

and it basically broke AI into the mainstream

and made AI this force in our minds, in the economy, all of that. He was fired abruptly. All of a sudden, no warning, no indication, no news stories.

It was totally out of the blue, which really almost never happens in like CEO

world.
