And we are going to talk about whether this here show should start charging guests to come on the show. Are we leaving money

on the table by failing to charge our guests? We are asking you to write in about that.

We are going to talk about the jobs market in states that restrict abortion rates and what

happens to women's pay in such places.

And we are going to talk about Warner Brothers Discovery and the huge changes that are happening to HBO Max.

And this brand new company formed when Discovery bought Warner Brothers is all coming up on Slate Money.

So we still don't know when season four of Succession is going to come out.

We don't have any fictional major media mergers to talk about,

but that's okay because we have a real major media merger to talk about.

Discovery has bought Warner Media, which is much bigger than it.

But basically the senior Discovery Management team, David Zazlav and his boys, because they're all boys, because he's a good old-fashioned media mogul and now running

more than media and they are making very big changes we got their first earnings report this

week and there's a whole bunch of news around this they've canceled a bunch of shows and they've

canceled a big movie called Batgirl, and they've

announced they're going to merge HBO Max, which is the streaming service with Discovery Plus,

which is the other streaming service. We don't know what the new one is going to be called.
