hi we're here this is great welcome I've been excited for this shame thanks for having me today have you really think of the lie no I was I was like you're so close to home and it's like

fellow Canadian I was like probably know a lot of mutual people I was like it's it's cool to finally connect because obviously I've known about you and your band for a long time so I was excited.

Thank you so much I will I will say this it's funny you know my research I was looking up you know stuff about you and everything and I noticed that we were nominated for Junos the same year in 2006 for you for best new artist and my band for best new group and we both lost.

Oh I lost to the guy that saying I don't even remember his name but he's like do you and you had that day you're like I had my bad day thank you very much.

I saw that I saw that too that's funny because because I yeah I went down a little bit of a weird Juno rabbit hole there this morning actually and I was like it's like Daniel powder and I was like yeah I have never heard of this guy but obviously I know this I know this song

and there it is somebody somebody else knows but and I know I never never knew the guy I never heard of him again and I looked at you know everything he had done and it seems like not too much since then but.

I think they I think they say that that winning those awards those like early early in your career you know best new whatever is like the kiss of death.

Oh well then thank goodness we didn't win right well we we lost to better when sound clash who had you know when the night.
