The Jersey Devil is the name given to a fearsome creature, said to roam the pine barons of

the state of New Jersey.

So do we do an investigation into whether such a creature actually does exist, or can we

save ourselves some time by, instead, going back to the beginning of the legend, and

seeing whether it ever referred to a monstrous beast, or to something else entirely.

The Jersey Devil is today unskeptoid.
