We've all heard of alpha waves, theta waves, etc. from an encephalogram.

The frequency of our brain waves is roughly akin to an engine's exhaust note.

We can tell a very few general things about what the brain is doing.

But some people believe the opposite, that by exposing us to a sound of some specific

desired frequency, that that exhaust note can actually change what the brain does.
