It's no secret that various cultures throughout human history have had unusual body modification

practices, including some that permanently impact the shape of the skull, head binding

for one.

In later years, when anthropologists discover these misshapen skulls, is it fair to consider

cultural practices, or must we be intellectually obligated to insist that alien hybrids are
