This is our second Sixers Beat of the night, although I guess technically not of the night since we are recording this early on Friday morning, but our second podcast about these Sixers hiring Doc Rivers to be their next head coach.

How are you doing, Rich?

I'm okay, man.

It's, uh, it's been a while since we've, we've done a late night pod, but I guess when we actually have some news to talk about for the first time in a while, it, uh, it's worth it.

Yeah, it has been, you know, ever since Sixers lost in the first round, swept in the first round by Doc Rivers' old team.

Pretty old team at this point.

It's been a solid seven years since he's been in Boston.

But ever since Sixers were swept by these Celtics, there has not been a whole lot of news.

There's been a lot of ranting, a lot of angst, a lot of anger, but not much in the form of news. So it is nice to finally have something concrete to talk about. And some of that anger, I would say actually a lot of that anger and that ranting has been because there has been no news. Yeah. Oh, for sure. For sure. Those things are correlated. Yes, for sure.

But now there is news.

Maybe not the news people want, but news.

We had a quick reaction podcast, which is up on the athletic, which I don't think that is in our sixers.

I probably should have checked this beforehand.
