joining us as we covered the most interesting news from last week, an army with the facts. So, of course,

you've heard, we took the gloves off in Venezuela. And last Saturday morning, U.S. Delta Force operators entered the Venezuelan capital Caracas

and arrested President Nicolas Maduro and his wife Celia Flores and brought them to the United

States to face federal justice.

Not just them, but also federal law enforcement.

They're the ones who actually read Maduro his Miranda rights.

This was called Operation Absolute Resolve.

It began around 2 a.m. local time.

U.S. forces conducted strikes across northern Venezuela to suppress air defenses,

while an apprehension force secured Maduro's residence in Caracas.

The raid was a result of months of intelligence preparation, at least one informant were as reported to be inside the Venezuelan government.

U.S. military officials said the raid maintained complete surprise and overwhelmed defensive fire when helicopters came under attack.

Former intelligence officials described the operation as a very rare and public failure of Cuban intelligence tradecraft.
