Hello. Hello and as always, welcome to the sister wives professor. That's me. I'm Dr. Adam, Professor of Communication, big fan of reality television, and this is my podcast, where I talk to you about reality shows,

especially sister wives and sister wives related stuff and other stuff too. And it is my great

privilege and my great pleasure to be able to be, however briefly, the background noise to the

important things that are going on in your life right now. I like to

think about you. I like to think about what you're doing and where you are. I have no idea. Some of you

are across the whole planet from me, different time zones, different days, different everything.

because for me, you got to keep in mind on my end. I'm sitting here in a closet in front of my laptop

talking about sister wives, and I'm having a great time doing it, but it's not like I can see you.

You know, you hear me. I don't really hear you. You know all about your life. I don't really know

anything. And so any little bit about what you do while you're listening always makes me feel,

kind of makes me feel closer to my audience because I don't, I don't like to think of you as my

audience. I like to think of you as equals and this, whatever we're doing, you know, I like to think,

because I cannot do this without you. You are far more important than me in terms of this podcast.

I'm very important. There is no podcast without me, but without you, there is no real success. So that's not me being critical of myself. That's me being very positive about you, as I should be. Because you deserve to feel good about yourself, frankly. Which is kind of funny in a way, not ha ha funny, but we are talking about Sister Wives Season 5 episode 6 titled Confronting Failure.
