That's me. I'm Dr. Adam, professor of interpersonal and family communication, and a follower of the television series, Sister Wives.

And I am here, as always, to talk to you about this show and the Brown family.

With this episode of the podcast, we wrap up the original first season of sister wives.

And that can only mean one thing.

I'm here today to talk to you about the honeymoon special.

Not just any honeymoon either, as we will see.

Before I do that, I'm releasing this podcast over the Christmas holiday, 2003, so I don't know

how many people will hear it right away.

It's kind of a weird thing to put something out, you know, right around Christmas.

But I've thought about it.

And I definitely have had years in my life where I, for various reasons, didn't spend the

holiday with anybody.

And in fact, my company over those holidays was television or movies, music, books, podcasts.

And there are plenty of you out there that can't or won't or shouldn't spend time with family right now.

And that's okay. That's just as valid as anything else. And so if this podcast can keep you

company for a little bit, I think that's wonderful.

It's kind of the least I can do.
