I am a professor of interpersonal and family communication at the University of

and I am a follower of sister wives who and I have a vested amount of energy in this show.

And no matter what, it seems, I will never give

it up. So let's get to it. If you haven't heard the first episode of the show, one of the things

that I tried to do is look at nonverbal behaviors. So the things that people say are obviously

very important from the communication standpoint.

That's not anything you don't know.

But what's also particularly interesting is to look at the way we move our bodies, the way we

move our eyes, the way we dress ourselves, adorn ourselves, our use of space and all that

when it is in agreement or perhaps more interestingly when it is in contrast to the things we're saying.

And the reason why I'm bringing this up now, I hope you haven't turned off a podcast yet,

it will get interesting in a second, is we see a lot of this in this particular episode.

So I want to talk about that and I want to talk about a lot of things as we talk about season one,

episode two of sister wives courting a fourth wife.
