work week. So it always feels like this. Uh, dimly lit room, deeper than the

bowels of the Armstrong and Getty communications compound of hair, buddy. They

over. Our general manager today the federal deficit. Yeah appears to be

double this year. It has dupal yipes. Yeah I was reading about that over the weekend

and uh one of the most interesting things to me is just out has no effect on

anybody. I mean just no. I remember when he hit a trillion the first time

everybody's like oh my god a trillion dollars in one year. Okay big finish now

big picture we go.

I'm actually old enough to remember we hit 400 million for the yearly deficit one

time and it was just oh my god. And then when we hit a trillion several years later

it was this is just no way to run a country. And I guess it's just fatigue over

this or something because I don't feel like the news of two trillion landed the way

it should. But yeah that's a big deal. Unprecedented world history outside of

carrying this kind of debt yearly outside of like a war or something.

Oh yeah yeah well it's it's utterly utterly unprecedented in times of non-cataclysm or

world war. And and it's even unprecedented in most of those times to have the deficit run
