All right, in today's episode I wanted to take the spirit of the Thanksgiving

talk to your family that doesn't share your political beliefs and try to do a little mini

episode of that so I did a friend a listener named Matt referred me to someone named Lonnie Miller who is running for Tennessee

Governor. Now before you get too excited he's certainly not a mainstream

candidate and it's a it's definitely a grassroots campaign but interesting nonetheless and he is a

Trump supporter and a Republican so I wanted to have a conversation and I want it sort of in the

spirit of Sarah Silverman's latest show I which I you should check out

it's very interesting I've enjoyed every episode of it it's called I Love You America or something or I heart you America

it's on Hulu but it's in the spirit of trying to find

some sort of common ground or just maybe trying to decrease the ill will and

animosity in our divide.

I know it's hard to do, it's hard to do consistently.

It feels fruitless at times, but it's something I wanted to try to do.

So in that spirit spirit here's a conversation
