Gobble Gobble Gobble accidental sort of Thanksgiving related episode, even though it's you know a little bit after Thanksgiving, but

Dr. Elizabeth Ditch joins us again. You may remember her from such episodes as does which college you go to really matter and that was a two

parter so that was a lot of fun back in August wow it's been that long but anyway Beth has a PhD in organizational psychology and this time

she's looked into the science around how conversations about race happen with kids there are two really good studies that Beth is going to take us through that talk about the timing of these

conversations how early do they happen how early do parents think they can happen and then the second study involves a lot of questions around whether or not people were going to talk about race during Thanksgiving which ended up being a

coincidental but funny little tie-in it's all be curious to hear after listening of course if you talk to your kids or your family or anybody about race this Thanksgiving did that come up

in any way because according to these studies it comes up actually more than you might think on average but there's of course a lot of detail around that to go
