ooh I've got a treat for you today.

This one's a little bit different I'd say.

It's the last of the recordings that I had not yet gotten out and so it was recorded

under a little bit of a different paradigm so it's not a science recording it's not a science

expert although you could say it's a political science practical expert I guess and you're

just going to have to trust me this is a fascinating person in a fascinating story so much

so that there are two parts to this one.

Today's part one my guest is Adrian Martin you may not recognize the name per se but you

might have seen her in several things whether it's a viral video that's been shared so

many times by so many people viral typical left wing sources under the heading of democratic

mom stuns at school board hearing with her speech it's a grandberry ISD school board

meeting there's so much behind it but she pushed back against the Christian fundamentalists

banning books in her community going after queer kids you know the usual anyone who isn't

exactly a straight cis white person she's in the heart of quote unquote enemy territory

as far as I'm concerned 85% Trump voting county in Texas and she's such a fascinating

story of just a person like you or I like anybody else put into very interesting circumstances

and and really thriving and doing a lot of real good I think it's such an inspiring story

well I'm not going to spoil anymore about it why don't we get on to part one with Adrian

Martin just be ready for so many cool twists and turns in this one from viral videos to HBO

shows to you name it this is a really fascinating person who has done something that I know a lot

of us have wanted to do which is make a difference on a local level under tons of adversity so here
