you might know him as Marsh he hosts the show Be Reasonable among other things and you're going to hear all about

week back and well you'll see it's a great discussion I wanted to have him on to talk about

the tactics of talking to people who are just coming from a vastly different place which is what he does over on be

reasonable and I hope you'll forgive it for being a little meta I mean this is a

pretty meta discussion in addition to getting into his past and his podcast which is of course

fascinating you should check it out it's also a meta discussion on what we're

doing here what what we should be doing in light of this political situation and talking to

people that really really come from a different world in a way so I hope you like

Messaged me after the price interview right and it was it was like hey I've been doing this kind of thing for quite a while.

And I thought, why don't we talk about this?

I can't believe we haven't talked about this sooner.

But before we get to all that, I wonder for anyone who's not familiar with your work, if you want to talk about be reasonable a little bit and kind of the other things projects you do.

Yeah, sure. So I mean, I co-founded the Merseys Skeptic Society back in 2009 and when we set that up we kind of started a few different things going at once we kind of ran a local event, Skeptics in the pub, we started doing things like fairly large-scale activist

campaign.

So I ran the, we came up with the 1023 overdose campaign where we had people all around the world taking

overdoses of homeopathic medicine to demonstrate.
