I'm your host Thomas Smith and I'm so excited to finally at long last bring you the recording of the mental health panel I did. I kind of hosted at QED. Really I was blown away by these panelists and I wish I had more time.

In fact, maybe we can do some follow-up with them at some point but for now we'll have to settle for the

50 or so minutes that we were able to have at QED. It was lots of fun.

It was this one honestly this one was a little kind of a little scary for me in some ways, like I, yeah, you know, shared a little bit and also I guess I'll make sure to give a content note that this is discussing mental health and some suicidal behavior and a little bit of trauma and stuff like that.

So just to let you guys know.

But I think it's a very good panel

and I was really proud to have been a tiny part of it.

Couple notes, I cut off of, you know, 10, 20 seconds

of bad audio in the beginning, so it starts a little bit abruptly

but that's when the audio got better for some reason and also there's some weird

noise in the audio you know sorry it wasn't it wasn't me. I don't know. I'm just

glad we have the audio. It's pretty well recorded but there seems to be some

sort of interference or noise or something.

But hopefully it won't bug you too much

because I think it's really good and very worthwhile.

So I didn't do bios for the panel

because I didn't want to waste that time and the bios were in the program

and stuff like that but since you guys don't have that I think I will do that here really

quickly. Ariane Shirin is a comedy writer and a journalist.
