All right, today I've got a fun conversation with Natalie Newell.

She's an ardent science advocate.

She co-hosts the Science enthusiast podcast and she recently made a

documentary called Science Moms. We're going to talk about that, her backstory, how she

got into it, but also one thing that I in particular wanted to talk about was the backlash she's getting online and

her documentary is getting with accusations that she's part of some conspiracy involving Monsanto and other companies and it's both funny and

really alarming to see.

So we talk a lot about that.

Just how advocating for GMO technology and other stuff like that just gives you this instant status as part of this dark shadowy conspiracy for some people.

It's really weird. So we're going to talk about that and more let's get to the interview.

Thank you for having me. And I was reminded that of the great work you're doing in the movie you made when Andrew tagged me,

for some reason, I don't know why, but I guess he wanted me to join in on the fun but he

tagged me in some some hate you were getting and it extended to Andrew and then it

like kind of extended to me for some reason and at first I was I was laughing about it I wanted to get you on to talk about that and of course the other stuff you're doing in your movie and all that but I wanted to talk about GMO but I wanted to talk about the Twitter hate,

but then I was also kind of saddened by it.
