My name is Jamie and this is our podcast where we take a look at your favorite movies using an intersectional feminist lens.

Using the Bechdel test as a jumping off point for discussion.

It is a media metric created by our best friend in the whole wide world, Alison Bechdel.

Which is our way of saying we met her twice.

Yes, exactly.

And it's a mediometric.

It has many different versions.

The one that we use is do two characters of a marginalized gender, have names, do they speak to each other?

And is their conversation about something other than a man?

And we also like it when it's narratively meaningful and relevant to the story.

And today we are, I think it's been a while since we have covered a movie so close to his
