Hey everybody, welcome to the single tracks podcast. My name is Jeff, and today I'm going to be

talking with Aaron and Greg about what's been going on this summer at single tracks.

Summer's a really busy time, actually, here at single tracks, and we have a lot of mountain bike

events and trips, booked solid pretty much from May through

September, which can be a tough life, I got to say, but someone has to do it. So Greg and Aaron

have been particularly busy over the past several weeks, and I thought it would be good to catch

up with them and learn about what they've been up to. So Aaron, let's start with you. You recently got back from

Crankworks and Whistler. What did you get up to while you were there? Hell of radness, I think,

right? That's what they're saying these days. Got into a little bit of everything. You know,

crankworks, for those that are unfamiliar, is a huge event. And's now, whether three or four stops. There's one in

New Zealand. There's one in France. I think there's one in Austria now. So maybe this, yeah, maybe

there's four. Crankworks Whistler is the original one. It's the biggest one. It's the premier

mountain bike festival in the world, really. It's the biggest one. It's the premier mountain bike festival in the world, really.

It's 12 days long, and there's every kind of racing you can imagine. There's cross-country racing,

there's a pump track, there's speed and style, there's dual slalom, downhill. And then, of course,

that all kind of culminates with with the main event being the

red bull joy ride so yeah caught a little bit of a little bit of everything you know some of the

events got plenty of riding in the bike park rode on plenty of the trails outside the bike park

which was cool and you know went to some went to some video competition, some photography competition.
