Kicking off our new series, Single, Dating, Engaged, Married, Pastor Ben Stuart dives into what the Scriptures have to say about singleness. We see that there is a purpose in the season of singleness, and we have to get a relationship with God right before we can get a relationship with a guy or girl right. Pastor Ben reminds us not to miss the benefits of the season we are in because we are pining away for the benefits of another season. “God has ordained a season of singleness not for us to fill it with distractions or career ambitions, but to pursue an undistracted devotion to Him.”

0:26.7	We would wake up Christmas morning at mom's house and then we would drive to beville Texas to go see country grandma and then we would drive to Beville, Texas, to go see Country Grandma, and then we would drive to San Antonio to go visit City Grandma.
0:37.5	We called it the Love Triangle, just driving around Texas.
0:40.5	And the best gifts were always at Mom's house. That's where Santa came.
0:44.0	The presence at country grandma's house were always weird.
0:48.0	There were things like a white sweater with a big deer on it, stuff like that.
0:52.0	And then city grandma got way better. a white sweater with a big deer on it, stuff like that.
0:53.0	And then city grandma got way better, toys, electronics, stuff like that.
0:58.0	Except for one year, when it all got flipped.
1:01.0	And we showed up at country grandma's house House and she gave me a slingshot.
1:05.0	And I don't mean like a little wooden one with a rubber band.
1:10.0	This thing was made of titanium.
1:12.0	Had the drop-down forearm... And this thing was made of titanium.
1:13.0	Had the drop-down forearm for maximum leverage, surgical tubing for the sling.
