economy is also deeply tied to China, even as U.S.-China relations continue to fracture.

Now, for a small country at a global crossroads, managing that tension is far from abstract.

It is central to its survival. And yet the city-state has continued to flourish as a global hub for finance and trade and technology.

Singapore, for instance, has some of the most advanced real-world adoption of artificial intelligence anywhere.
